Adam Amarisinghe won his title belt at Victory Fights with a decisive win over wrestler Alexandra Bilbrovka, with the fight going to the ground and resulting in a round 1 TKO stoppage to Amarasinghe after some irresistible ground and pound.

That win kicked off Amarasinghe’s Pro career, after an undefeated 9-0 run and winning the 2017 IMMAF European Championships as an amateur. Now he faces a new challenge in an international bout with Andrew Mendes travelling from France to throw down.

Fighting out of the famous MMA Factory in Paris, Mendes is a keen fighter who is very dangerous on his feet. He has good takedown defence and has worked on his overall MMA game but he knows where his strengths are and uses them effectively.

Mendes is certainly sure to bring his A-game, stating:

“I’m looking forward to the fight since I’m training very hard. I wish him good luck to handle it.”
